You could spend a whole day in Pike and Rose shopping, eating, watching movies, bowling, ice cream licking, getting your hair done – you name it. There are a few big ones you should definitely check out next time you pop into North Bethesda though.

IPic Pike and Rose

The IPic Pike and Rose movie theatre is located on the main drag, serving alcohol and real food (not just candy & popcorn).  This movie theater is pricier than your average theater, but you are paying for the experience.

The chairs in the theater are comfortable reclining chairs that come with a small table for food & drink as well as a blanket.

You even have a waiter while inside the theater. No more missing the biggest plot point because you need a refill!

Escape Room fans will want to book a time slot at Escapology. Up to six players can enter this North Bethesda escape room for 60-minute to immerse themselves in a real-life adventure where they must work together to find hidden clues, crack codes and solve challenging puzzles to escape.

PIKE Central Farm Market

Pop into the PIKE Central Farm market every Saturday 9am-1:30pm right inside the REI parking lot.

About 40 vendors are offering seasonal produce, fresh meats, poultry, fish, baked goods and prepared foods. We love to see what is being offered and plan our meals around these local farmers and producers.

Bring your reusable bags and load up every week. If you are just visiting, you can still pick up a few snacks as you shop and explore Pike & Rose.

The Beach at Pike & Rose

Quite possibly our favorite spot is The Beach at Pike & Rose. Let the kids dig in the sand while you enjoy a coffee at one of the tables or “cabanas” painted right into this backdrop.

It’s a great spot for a few Instagram photos, or just lounge in the L.L. Bean Adirondack chairs. With all of the restaurants in Pike & Rose, you can easily grab some take out for a little staycation in North Bethesda.

The Farm at Pike & Rose

Hidden away on a 17,000 Squarefoot rooftop, The Farm at Pike & Rose is bringing sustainable farming to North Bethesda in partnership with Up Top Acres. This urban farm provides produce to restaurants in Pike & Rose.

Locals can also sign up for a seasonal Farm Membership and receive weekly boxes of fresh produce grown close to home.

AMP

We love AMP, a venue that brings live acts, comedy troops, storytellers and cover bands into a small concert venue. Grab a drink or some food before you rock out in the 2,800-square-foot concert space that features folk, jazz, Scottish rock, jazz and southern soul artists.

Comedy performances and storytellers take the stage to entertain as well. Or you can simply relax in the 1,100-square-foot lounge.
